Colleen MessnerRN, BSN, Program CoordinatorColleen was born and raised in Green Bay, WI and has been a Registered Nurse for 30 years with a background in neurology, home health, and most recently Public Health. She has a knowledge of community resources and understands the healthcare system. She has been with Casa ALBA Melanie since June, 2021 as the program coordinator for the Spanish Health Navigation Program. She brings medical experience and compassion towards the Latino population to be able to advocate for health equity and inclusion while also working to ensure the healthcare systems are aware of barriers to healthcare access faced by this population.

Dayan ContrerasLPN, Spanish Health NavigatorDayan was born in Honduras and moved to the Green Bay area in 2012. Since moving here she has learned the English language, graduated from high school, became a certified nursing assistant, and has completed her LPN degree. She has been an invaluable resource for her family and friends, learning and helping them navigate the American Health Care system. She knows how to find community resources and understands the healthcare system. She has been with Casa ALBA Melanie since January 2022 as the Spanish Health Navigator. She brings empathy, compassion, and firsthand medical experience to the Latino population of our community to be able to advocate and educate them when health care needs arise.
