Casa ALBA Melanie is a vibrant resource center that strives to nurture the development of the Hispanic/Latino population living in Northeast Wisconsin by creating support systems, building partnerships with multiple community organizations, and providing a place where Hispanics are always welcome. The Hispanic community in Greater Green Bay is the second-largest in Wisconsin. As the oldest and most established Hispanic organization in the region, Casa ALBA Melanie nurtures over 80 partnerships with local organizations in the community.
We are currently searching for our next Executive Director to serve in a full-time salaried position that reports directly to the Board of Directors of Casa ALBA Melanie. The Executive Director is responsible for all the core programs, operations, and strategic foresight of the organization and is tasked with creating a positive environment in Casa ALBA Melanie, welcoming people from diverse cultures. They will provide leadership and stability to the organization and be attentive to the needs, opportunities, and challenges of the Hispanic population living in Northeast Wisconsin. The Executive Director will supervise a minimum of six to eight staff members and community volunteers. EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR: KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic Guidance
- Provide strategic direction to the organization utilizing Strategic Foresight techniques in partnership with the Casa ALBA team and Board of Directors.
- Implement and track the progress of the organization’s strategic plan.
- Lead with an entrepreneurial spirit to maximize current and future opportunities that advance the mission of Casa ALBA Melanie.
- Identify, recruit, develop, and coach a talented, mission-driven team of employees and volunteers to advance the mission.
- Inform the Board of Directors of staff changes, donor details, successful campaign details, and areas where the staff feels help is needed.
- Lead fundraising efforts that diversify revenue streams including, but not limited to, individual donors, business sponsorships, and grants.
- Develop a sustainability plan that continues to grow our financial position and set up the resource center for the long-term success of Casa ALBA Melanie.
- Responsible for the planning and execution of the annual budget.
- Establish policies and procedures for the organization's daily operation for employment, nonprofit administration, and programming that reflect our mission's values.
- Ensure the resource center building is adequately maintained and serviced, and technology is current.
- Maintain existing and establish new strategic partnerships (local, state, and national) to advance the mission of Casa ALBA Melanie.
- Identify win-win opportunities with partners to expand the reach and impact of services Casa ALBA Melanie can provide.
- Represent Casa ALBA Melanie with the media, partner organizations, the general public, and the Hispanic community.
- Act with the highest ethics and integrity inspiring our clients, staff, and volunteers to achieve their highest potential.
- Comfortable with change and skilled at change-management
- Create transformational and enhanced experiences for Hispanics in our community
Executive Director: Qualifications
Qualifications Required
The ideal Casa ALBA Melanie Executive Director will be bilingual, have a four-year college degree, two years of management experience professional with knowledge of the Hispanic community in Greater Green Bay. They will have proven leadership experience, organizational, task management skills, and empowering a high-performance team. Since Casa ALBA has multiple stakeholders in the community, they will also have demonstrated success in establishing and maintaining relationships, especially with organizations, donors, partner agencies, and volunteers. The Executive Director will have excellent written, oral, and interpersonal skills. They will maintain a transparent and high-integrity leadership, effectively working within a community setting with a diverse range of partners.

- Comfortable working with various religious institutions in Northeast Wisconsin that support Casa ALBA Melanie
- Awareness of the various Hispanic cultures living in the greater Green Bay area and openness to the needs of the new immigrants to the community
- Fiscal management experience, including budgeting and reporting against that budget
- Strong work ethic with a high degree of energy and commitment
