Amanda Garcia is currently the Executive director of Casa ALBA Melanie. She is the proud daughter of Mexican immigrants, a first generation leader and community builder in Northeast Wisconsin. Amanda has worked with and for the Latino community for over 12 years and obtained a Bachelor of Arts from St. Norbert College and a Master Degree from Marquette University in International Relations. A long term vision for her is seeing a thriving Northeast Wisconsin where everyone feels welcomed and has a sense of belonging.
Her roles in the community include: Achieve Brown County Board Member, Brown County United Way Advocacy Council Vice Chair, Latino Advisory Committee member to the Green Bay Police Department, Latino Professionals Association of Northeast Wisconsin member, Northeast Wisconsin Latinx Rising Advisor, and NEWLET Chair. |

Jose Vila is President of Casa ALBA Melanie Board of Directors and is the President of Commercial Lending at Fox Communities Credit Union. He earned degrees from Northeast Technical College, the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay and his MBA from St. Norbert College. Jose enjoys participating in community development and lending financial literacy programs and efforts.
His community involvement includes: Green Bay Botanical Garden Board Member and Latino Professionals Association of Northeast Wisconsin member. |
